How to make a property video from photos

You don't need a film crew. With the listing photos you already have, you can build a polished, on-brand property video for Rightmove, Zoopla and social. Here's how.

Listings with video draw far more buyer enquiries than photos alone — yet most homes never get one, because filming and editing take time and money. The good news: a strong property video can be built entirely from stills.

Choose the right photos

Pick high-res, well-lit images — wide exteriors and bright, tidy interiors. You only need 6–10 strong shots; skip the filtered or low-res ones.

Order them like a story

Hook on your strongest image with the benefit and guide price; tour from the exterior through the key rooms; close on an aspirational shot and a clear call to action.

Add motion

Static photos feel flat. Go hybrid: subtle cinematic moves on a few hero shots, simple pan/zoom on the rest — cinematic without looking artificial.

Brand it

Add your logo, colours and fonts, plus on-screen captions for each feature. Keep type large and readable on a phone.

Add music

A music bed lifts the whole piece. Use a track cleared for commercial use — a licensed library or licensed AI track — never music pulled off the internet.

Export the right formats

16:9 for the portal listing and YouTube, 9:16 for Reels, TikTok and Stories, 1:1 for feeds. Keep key text inside each platform's safe zones.

The fast way. Doing all of this by hand per listing is slow. Listingly automates the whole sequence — paste a listing link, pick your Brand Kit, and it returns all three formats in minutes.

Skip the editing
